Elvis meets Memphis' Newest Generation: DJ MiZUnderstatistic and L'Daialogue DiCaprio

Elvis Presley's influence on rock n' roll has been unprecedented even 31 years after his death on August 16, 1977 in Memphis, Tennessee. Up until now, Elvis' legacy has been synominous with Memphis music.

Ever since then, Memphis rap music has been the dominant musical form in past years with artists like Three 6 Mafia and Eightball & MJG leading the way with platinum and gold plaques respectively. The catchy, yet energetic "get buck" style of Memphis underground rap has not only been successful but has also earned them Academy Awards as well.

DJ MiZUnderstatistic and Memphis emcee L'Daialogue DiCaprio have teamed up to create a mash up project of classic Elvis songs with the crunkest Memphis tracks in recent years entitled ElvisLovesMemphisRap. The project features some of Memphis finest such as Playa Fly, Project Pat, Tela, 8Ball & Yo Gotti.

Finally, after so many fans thought the impossible about this collaboration will now see the reality of 2 different eras of Memphis sounds combined on this project. Tracklisting and download links are coming soon.
