DJ Quik Covers L.A. Weekly [OVAGROUND EXCLUSIVE]

Here's a cool story about a DJ, producer & rapper that I REALLY look up to: DJ Quik.

I actually met him in L.A a few weeks ago at Ameoba Records. He was super-cool. I told him that me & him would be collaborating in the near future & he dang near gave me a look like "This dude really means it." Also, he gave me a little game about the industry and all that. He is really a humble legend that I STILL believe does not get his just due in the game.

But, I copped his latest album, Book Of David and got it autographed.
